Congratulations Ted Letourneau

Ted Letourneau has over 14 years of experience in occupational hygiene consulting services having provided project management, assessment and technical input to hundreds of hazardous building material management and abatement projects. He has managed asbestos, lead and mould abatement tasks including project supervision and management, inspections, air monitoring, development of project specifications, and other services. He has also conducted non-intrusive and destructive assessments of occupied buildings, public facilities and pre-demolition sites for hazardous building materials along with upwards of approximately 100 worker exposure assessments and indoor air quality assessments.

The Canada Alberta Job Grant is available to incorporated companies within Alberta.

The CAJG offers employers a reimbursement of pe-approved training, repaying 66% of the costs of the training back to the employer, to a limit of $10,000 per individual worker and $300,000 per company!

Retirement news!

Safety Coordination Services is proud to congratulate Chris Christensen on his retirement and wishes him many enjoyable and relaxing years ahead.

Chris Christensen began his career in the health and safety industry in 1979, working for Shell Canada in Calgary as a service hand in the sour gas industry.

He became an instructor in H2S training through the CAODC, and in 1981 he relocated back to Edmonton to work for Standard Safety. In 2006, he recertified through Enform and joined the Leduc Safety team as a leading H2S Alive™ instructor.

As an employee of Leduc Safety he continually grew his skills, becoming a certified instructor in WHMIS, TDG and Ground Disturbance.

Over the 37 years that he was involved in training, he has personally instructed nearly thirty thousand students.

The staff of Safety Coordination Services and Leduc Safety wish Chris a long and happy retirement!

Safety Coordination Services is proud to congratulate Daniel Hicks on his retirement and wishes him many enjoyable and relaxing years ahead.

Daniel Hicks began his safety career with St. John Ambulance in 1972, and then taught the very first H2S courses in the province through CAODC. When the Petroleum Industry Training Service developed it’s H2S Alive™ program, Daniel taught that course through Leduc Safety Service and later, Safety Coordination Services.

Daniel Hicks has, over the course of his career, personally trained nearly 40,000 students.
