First Aid Drills
Safety Coordination Services offers First Aid Drills to allow your organization to test, evaluate, and exercise first aid and emergency management skills. Our team can set up live simulation exercises tailored to your workplace, allowing your workers to practice and develop their learned first aid skills in a workplace environment. Through the use of rescue dummies, volunteers, simulated wounds and hazards, we can provide effective, safe, and educational first aid drills.
First responders to an accident often report that uncertainty and unfamiliarity with their training prevents them from taking immediate, life-saving action. While these skills should be retrained every three years or more, many individuals seldom get an opportunity to practice what they have learned, and quickly lose the finer points and details of technique. Our expert-led exercises can assist your organization in faster and better-skilled responses to emergency situations.
These drills provide ample opportunity to practice Accident Investigation skills, providing a low-stakes opportunity for your health and safety officers to employ and sharpen their skill set. Many organizations skilled in emergency response find it difficult to provide on-the-job training opportunities for accident investigation. Safety Coordination Services team led by Canadian Registered Safety Professionals can work with your team to develop and conduct a comprehensive accident investigation exercise in tandem to the first aid drill exercise.
