This course is available in a two day format, and is designed for individuals required to work within a confined space, and who may be required to affect a rescue attempt in the event of an emergency.
Participants will learn:
Day One:
Hazards of confined spaces
Preparation for entry
Working in confined spaces
Use of SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) or SABA
(Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus)
Rescue Techniques
Post-entry debriefing
Day Two:
All of the material listed to the right, plus
Confined Space Rescue practical training
Simulated Rescue Scenario Exercises
Rescue Carry Technique Exercises
Upon successful completion of this course students
will receive a certificate of participation.
