This one-day course is designed for individuals who plan entry into confined spaces, supervise others, or perform work in confined spaces themselves.

Participants will learn:

  • Requirements for Confined Space Work
  • Minimum Legislated Standards
  • What Hazards are Present, and Control of Hazards Found
  • Administrative Controls (Atmospheric Testing, Training, Entry Plans)
  • Engineering Controls (Ventilation, and Isolation)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Evaluation of Entry Plans
  • Use of Safe Work Permits
  • Basic Respiratory Protective Equipment and Atmospheric Testing Equipment are described

Upon Successful completion of this course participants will receive a certificate of participation.
