General Oilfield Driver Improvement (GODI) (8 Hours)
This is a one day course intended for oilfield truck drivers operating
vehicles with a GVW of 5500kg and above.
Participants will learn: |
- Defensive driving skills
- Professional driving attitude
- Regulations and policies
- National safety code requirement
- Vehicle inspection
- Load securing
- Off highway driving techniques

Upon successful completion participants receive PITS GODI certification
and are eligible for a reduction of up to three demerit points from
their Alberta Drivers License.
